A tropical quad collaboration. 12% abv hidden very well. Ruddy red brown color. Faint nose. Plenty of sugar, peaches, apricots, prunes, yeasty, a bit of funk. The taste is very fruity and sweet, tangy, with a soft sweet finish. Alcohol hidden very well. Body is full, very substantial feeling. Ok, though very sweet. -

Nice Belgian IPA. Loads of honey in the nose, musty funky flavor. Yeasty? A nice hoppy finish follows through. -

Spicy black IPA. Plenty of pepper and floral hops on the nose, very dry bitter finish. Nice. -

A collaboration between Redemption and Mikkeller. A really nice, spicy mild that does wonders considering the light abv (3.5%). Too bad it's a one-off! -

Riotous head. Light, dry body that leaves a nice, lingering pepper flavour. Pretty good, but not The Kernel's finest. -

Spicy wheat beer. The mouthfeel is surprisingly bitter, and not all that enjoyable. I like Otley beers, but this one's not very good. -

Possibly the sweetest stout I've ever tasted. Like melted coffee ice cream. It has luxurious mouthfeel that doesn't quite match the true greats of the style. A little more bitterness would be appreciated. Still, this is quite good. -

Brand new London brewery. This pale Ale has a cloudy amber appearance. Toasted bread nose. Really light, fruity mouthfeel. This could do with some more carbonation and flavor in general. Room for improvement, but I love the burst of new london breweries! -

Big DIPA from the lads at Thornbridge. 8.5% abv. Caramel roasted malts supporting a big ol' hoppy symphony of flavor. Not the most polished of beers, buy definitely on the right track. -

Imperial stout that the lads at Mikkeller have ages in Tequila barrels. The aging seems to have left a distinct, dry tang to this very sweet brew. Big, sugary vanilla notes. -

Awesome collaboration with The Kernel. This is a 'Burton style' ale, which apparently a common style in the 19th century. Awesome roasted coffee and black cherry sweetness settling under a riotous tan head. High ABV. So good. -

Light straw color, closer to a classic pilsner than other marzens I've tried. Still, this is a very nice beer. Grassy, quite approachable. -

Classic Oktoberfest beer. Lovely copper color. An easy sipping, nicely malted flavor that makes downing a liter of this quite enjoyable. -
